How this rescue goes

Start with a bowl of warm water and a squeeze of mild soap. Dunk the scruffy ball, rub the fur between your fingers and keep rinsing until the water runs clear. That is when ears, a face and a tail begin to appear.

Squeeze the water out in a towel, dry the fur and brush it section by section. Tie-dye fur looks its brightest when it is fully dry, so give it time before the collar goes on and the adoption certificate gets a name.
