From scruffy to fluffy: the ScruffaLuvs story

A ScruffaLuvs pet is a story in four chapters, and the child holding it writes most of them.

1. Scruffy

Every ScruffaLuvs pet begins the same way: as a sad, matted ball of fur behind the window of a carrier. We make them like that on purpose. A rescue only feels like a rescue when someone needs you.

2. Soapy

The bath is where the story turns. Warm water and a little soap wash the scruff away, and the child holding the pet is the first person to see who it is.

3. Fluffy

Drying and brushing bring the fur back to life. We pack a comb in every carrier because grooming is how the bond gets built, one stroke at a time.

4. Furever

A collar, a name and a signed adoption certificate close the rescue. We call the result an FFF, a Fluffy Friend Furever, and we mean the furever part.
